Cant download nvidia driver says try again later

Downloaded the Battlefield 1 Beta recently and was told I would need to download newer software and whatnot to run it. Ok, that's not a problem, I figured I'd need to. So I go to the GeForce driver and find my most recent update and try to install it but I get the message in the title. "UNABLE TO CONNECT TO NVIDIA, TRY AGAIN LATER." I'm trying to make sure everything works fine, but now it says i'm unable to check for updates. Is nvidia's server for updating drivers down or did i screw up something like deleting the c:\nvidia folder? I hear its . So updated my Geforce experience like many others only to be greeted with a login screen. so i attempt to make an account/sign in with google/sign in with facebook and none of them work. all i get is 'Unable to register you at the moment. Try again later' been trying for 3 days now. any ideas?
